Frugality Forced, Yet Welcome

Today marks the end of 6 years, 3 months, and 9 days spent being employed at the same place.  I was a victim of downsizing, or as the more politically correct omission of negativity in terms has morphed the word, rightsizing.  Seems to me a slight more negative, implying my employ was in the wrong.  Nevermind that.

It is quite interesting how things work out, or when paying attention, how seemingly trivial daily occurrences take on greater importance or meaning.  One never truly knows how the best laid plans perform until they are needed.  It has been said, butcheringly here, that a plan for battle never survives the first action.
